Meet The Team

Paul Edwards - Founder & Co-Founder, Paul Edwards Publishing & FND Today

Paul Edwards, Founder of FND Today and Paul Edwards Publishing

Paul Edwards is the founder of Paul Edwards Publishing and the driving force behind FND Today a publication born not from business ambition, but from lived experience alongside several published books relating to Functional Neurological Disorder (FND).

As someone living with Functional Neurological Disorder himself, Paul understands the confusion, the frustration, and the profound lack of accessible information that so many FND sufferers face. That personal journey became the foundation for everything FND Today stands for.

Paul has always been drawn to health and social care, completing several courses over the years but he wanted more. He wanted to understand the science, the systems, and the people behind the blue lights. He wanted to give something back.

That’s why Paul is now studying an Access to Higher Education Diploma in Paramedic Science, with plans to progress to an Undergraduate and then Postgraduate degree. Whether his path leads to attending emergency calls, working in a control centre, or advising from a base he doesn’t yet know. But he will keep progressing.

Paul created FND Today with a single purpose: to give a voice to a condition that has for too long been overlooked, misdiagnosed, and misunderstood. Through honest storytelling, expert insight, and community-driven content, he is committed to ensuring that no one with FND has to navigate their journey alone.

“I started FND Today because I needed it myself. Now I want it to be there for everyone who does.” — Paul Edwards

Stuart Shore - Co-Founder, Paul Edwards Publishing & FND Today

Stuart Shore, Co-Founder of FND Today and Paul Edwards Publishing

Stuart Shore is a passionate FND advocate, and someone who knows the reality of living with Functional Neurological Disorder from the inside out.

Holding a BA (Hons) with QTS in Physical Education and with a professional background in the financial sector, Stuart brings both academic grounding and real-world credibility to his role as Co-Founder of Paul Edwards Publishing and FND Today. But it is his personal experience as an FND sufferer that truly drives his commitment to this work.

Stuart joined as Co-Founder because he believes deeply that awareness saves lives, reduces suffering, and gives people the language to finally be heard. For too long, FND has been misunderstood, underdiagnosed, and under-supported and that is something he is determined to help change.

Together, Stuart and Paul are building something that goes beyond publishing. FND Today exists to ensure that every person living with FND and every family trying to understand it has access to honest, compassionate, and credible information.

“FND changed my life. Now I want to help change the conversation around it.” — Stuart Shore
